Bowzer Box was created by a team of Canadian dog owners with a passion to deliver the best dog-inspired treats and toys with Canadian pride! We first set up shop in February 2014; some people thought we were a little crazy (we might have thought so as well) but with one goal in mind we were determined to be the first Canadian based Monthly Subscription Dog Box.

What is Bowzer Box?

Bowzer Box is a recurring subscription service that delivers a box of doggy goodies every month. You sign up for a 1-, 3-, 6-month, and will receive 5-6 items such as dog treats, toys, and accessories right at your door.  Bowzer Box includes a variety of handpicked items including full size toys and treats, samples, and coupons from various brands that we, and our pooches, love. We look for only the best quality, tried and true products, and we aim to take the guesswork out of providing for your pup. Every box is unique and each one we will try to highlight a Canadian product. We promise to try our best not to repeat the same treat or toy.

How do I sign up?

It’s easy! Click the link on our home page, select the size of your dog, and then select which monthly plan you want.  Once you fill in all your billing and shipping information you’re ready to go.  All subscription plans are monthly but you pay the total upfront. Your subscription will also auto-renew on the last shipment of your current plan.

What is the most cost effective subscription?

Here’s the breakdown:

1 month- $33/month
3 months- $31/month
6 months- $29/month

Is there a cost for shipping?

Unfortunately shipping in Canada is pricey so as of right now we can’t offer free shipping. Not to worry though, we want to make sure everyone has the chance to be part of the Bowzer Box pack so we’ve tried to make it as affordable as possible with a flat shipping fee of $6.00 across Canada.

How do I fork over the “bones”?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express as payment.

When will I be billed?

All of our plans are monthly but you will be billed for your full plan immediately upon signing up.  Your plan will automatically renew following the last shipment of your current plan. 

How do I cancel my subscription?

Warning: Don’t mention this in front of your pup; you might not be on speaking terms if you do! We’re sad to see you go but if you do wish to cancel please do so at any point before the 1st day of the last month of your most recent subscription..  Email us at support@bowzerbox.ca and we will take care of it for you within 24 hours.  You will still receive the boxes you’ve already paid for but your subscription will not be renewed once it expires. If you miss us you can always sign up again the same way you did initially.

If I cancel before the end of my subscription, will I still get all my boxes?

Absolutely! Even if you cancel after your first box you will get all the boxes that are part of your initial subscription. There will be no more boxes after your last scheduled delivery, just don’t tell your pup!

Why was my subscription renewed?

Bowzer Box is an auto-renewing subscription. We do our best to make sure you understand this when signing up but we understand that things can be missed in the initial excitement. If there has been any confusion regarding the renewal of your Bowzer Box subscription please contact us at support@bowzerbox.ca to get it sorted out.

When will I receive my first box?

Bowzer Box is shipped out the 15th of every month.  The cutoff date for signing up is before the 10th of each month in order to receive your box the same month that you sign up.  If you sign up after the 10th, you’ll receive your first box the following month.

How will I know if my Bowzer Box has shipped?

Well that’s easy! Each month Quinny, our Captain of Communications and Quality Control (try saying that five times fast!), will send out an email to all of her four-legged friends as soon as the boxes have shipped. 

What are my shipping options?

All of our boxes are shipped Canada Post to ensure safe and speedy delivery.

How do I change my shipping address?

If something changes on your end, shoot us an email at support@bowzerbox.ca and we will make sure that all of your info is correct and up to date.

Help! I forgot to change my shipping address and the boxes were already shipped!

Ruhroh! We understand that you’re busy and mistakes can happen, that doesn’t mean you should go without your Bowzer Box. Please send us an email as soon as possible at support@bowzerbox.ca and we will do our best to track down your box and get it to you. If that doesn’t work, there will be a new box on your doorstep in no time!

My Bowzer Box showed up in ruff shape, help!

If your box shows up in less than perfect shape, and shipping has damaged your products in any way please get in touch with us at support@bowzerbox.ca so that we can make arrangements to replace it for you and get your pup playing asap.

What countries can receive Bowzer Boxes?

Right now we’re Canucks only. Our neighbours to the south have some amazing doggy goodie options, so we felt it was important to focus on our four-legged friends here at home. We would love to be able to reach dogs around the world but we need to get our paws on solid ground and establish our business in Canada first. You never know though, keep an eye out for us in a city near you…

Where do the products in your Bowzer Box come from?

We want only the best for our four-legged friends so we put a lot of time and care into selecting items that are healthy and safe for your dog.  All the treats we include are made in either Canada, USA or if we found something extra special from a top quality company in an awesome country.  Toys are sourced mainly from Canada and the USA as well, although sometimes if a toy from another country proves itself with our pups we’ll include it too. Rest assured, we will never send you something that we wouldn’t give to our own dogs.  We strive to support our fellow Canucks so if you would like to see one of your favourite Canadian treats in Bowzer Box please let us know at support@bowzerbox.ca.

Can I order a special box for my pup if they have allergies or dietary requirements?

We try our best to accommodate all of our pupscribers but we currently do not offer a box specifically for the more sensitive pooches. We try and make sure wherever possible that the products we choose are free from fillers and major allergens like wheat and corn, so hopefully your dog will be able to enjoy the majority of what we offer. If not, they will surely be king or queen of the dog park if you choose to gift what your pup can’t enjoy.

How do I return a defective product?

We do our best to only send you products of the utmost quality but if something arrives in less than perfect condition or doesn’t stand up when the going gets ruff even though it’s guaranteed to, we’ll look into replacing it for you. Please send us an email at support@bowzerbox.ca explaining the situation and we will provide instructions on how to return it.

How do I suggest a pet product I love?

Let us know what makes your dog’s tail wag. We always have our eyes and ears out for local or North American companies that are doing right by dogs. If you have a product that you would like to recommend please send the information our way at support@bowzerbox.ca.

Can I give Bowzer Box as a gift?

You bet your tail you can!  Just click the link on our home page and select the gift subscription. We offer a 1-, 3-, or 6-month subscription that does not renew.  Make sure to put your information in the Billing section and the recipient’s information in the Shipping section and you’re all set. Your lucky friend or family member will have a Bowzer Box on their doorstep within the month.

What type of charities and organizations do you donate to?

We’re big on supporting the people in our own back yard. We are always looking for local animal shelters, rescues, outreach programs, and non-profit organizations that can use a hand making animals’ lives a little brighter. Our boxes are for the dogs, but we support organizations that help all kinds of animals in need.

How do I suggest a shelter or organization for donations?

We always love to hear about amazing organizations that love pets as much as we do!  Shoot us an email at support@bowzerbox.ca with a link to the organization’s website or their contact info and we’ll check it out.

How do I get in touch with Bowzer Box?

The best way for you to get ahold of us here at Bowzer headquarters is by email (support@bowzerbox.ca). You can send any general enquiries here and they will be directed to the correct party. We will always do our best to respond to your emails within 24 hours.
